IDI President Gerard Fromm delivered the keynote presentation — entitled “Identity and the Intergenerational Transmission of Trauma” — to the Japanese Society for Developmental Psychology, in Hiroshima, Japan in March 2017.

IDI members delivered a presentation entitled “A Group Intervention in Northern Ireland” to the International Psychoanalytic University of Berlin in December 2016.

Robi Friedman and others participated in a series of interventions in Israel in Summer 2016, including at a school and a kibbutz, and before applying the intervention model to an emerging political movement comprised of both Israeli Arabs and Jews.
