The International Dialogue Initiative today launched a new series of “In Conversation” podcasts, dedicated to the discussion of psycho-political themes and manifestations exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The inaugural round of podcasts include a discussion of large-group identities between IDI President Gerard Fromm and President Emeritus Vamik Volkan; a discussion between Ed Shapiro and Ford Rowan on “Uncertainty, Disunity and Injustice,” a conversation between Bijan Khahejpour and Coline Covington on the psychological components of returning to work, a conversation between Gerard Fromm and the Israeli psychoanalyst Robi Friedman on “the COVID matrix,” and a conversations between David Fromm and Hiba Husseini about the impact of the pandemic on social life and work in the Palestinian Territories.
