IDI Chair Vamik Volkan Receives Sigourney Award for 2015

Each year, the private independent Sigourney Foundation grants outstanding achievement awards to individuals who, or organizations which, have made major contributions to the fields of clinical psychoanalysis or psychoanalytic research. On October 4, 2015, the winners of the 2015 Sigourney Awards were announced.  The IDI is pleased to announce that Dr. Vamik Volkan, Chair and founder of the IDI, was one of two Sigourney Award recipients for 2015.  Interested readers may learn more here.
